Delinquent Tax Sale Overview
Each year, the Scott County Clerk holds a sale of the previous year’s tax bills that remain unpaid. Anyone interested in acquiring a delinquent tax bill must register with the Scott County Clerk to become, what is known as, a ‘third-party purchaser’ and participate in the sale.
