In addition, you may obtain a marriage license or become a notary through this office.

Driver's Licenses
Driver’s licenses are issued by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. More information can be found on the Kentucky Department of Transportation’s website here.
Traffic Citations
Traffic citations are handled by the Scott County Circuit Clerk’s office, located at 119 N Hamilton St, Georgetown, KY 40324.
Property Taxes & Valuation
Property taxes and valuation are handled by the Scott County PVA. The PVA is located on the 2nd floor of the Courthouse at 101 East Main St, Georgetown, KY 40324.
Building Permits
Building permits for Scott County and Georgetown are handled by the City of Georgetown. The Building Inspection Department is located at 125 W Clinton St, Georgetown, KY 40324.
Divorce, Adoption and Name Changes
These family matters are handled by the Scott County Circuit Court Clerk located at 119 N Hamilton St, Georgetown, KY 40324.
