Qualifying voters may receive a ballot by mail through an application process. The application portal opens on Saturday, September 19, 2026 and closes on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. Log onto GoVote.ky.gov to see if you qualify.
Any voter with a mail-in absentee ballot may either:
Mail their ballot using the envelope provided, or
Drop off their ballot at an Official Ballot Drop Box (locations and times below)

If a voter anticipates being absent during ‘early’ voting October 29-30, 2026 AND on Election Day, November 3, 2026, they may come into the Vote Center located in the Sheriff’s/Co. Clerk’s Branch Bldg. located at 240 Caleb Conley Way, Georgetown, KY 40324.
In-person absentee voting will take place between the hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm on October 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 26th, 27th, 28th

State legislation allows for 3 days of early voting in the 2026 Primary Election.
Voters may visit the Scott County Sheriff’s/Co. Clerk’s Branch Bldg. @ 240 Caleb Conley Way OR Scott Co Public Library @ 104 S Bradford Lane Thursday, October 29th, Friday, October 30th and Saturday, October 31st, 2026 to cast their ballot early in the Primary Election.
The polls will be open during early voting from 8:30am – 4:30pm all 3 days.
12 County-wide Voting locations will be open on Election Day Tuesday, November 3, 2026 from 6am – 6pm.
Any eligible voter can cast their ballot at any of the voting locations listed here.
