Public Land Records

The Scott County Clerk is charged with housing all legal land records (deeds, mortgages, wills, etc.) as well as marriage licenses and notary bonds.

These records can be searched online or in-person in our deed room by accessing a public terminal. While deputy clerks are available for some assistance, they are prohibited from performing title searches. Specific record requests may be made online by form.

Search Online

Search Scott County’s online records using eCCLIX, the online records database.

eCCLIX Public Search

 Important Information:

  • Review the records available before registering for an account.
  • The index is built using party names, not property addresses.  If only the address is known, more information can be obtained on our Property Valuation Administrator’s website, scottkypva.com.
  • When conducting your search, use as few parameters as needed to broaden your results.  Basic information will provide the best return on the search (i.e. limiting your search fields to LAST NAME, FIRST NAME).
