 Important Information:

• Review the records available before registering for an account. 
• The index is built using party names, not property addresses.  If only the address is known, more information can be obtained on our Property Valuation Administrator’s website, scottkypva.com. 
• When conducting your search, use as few parameters as needed to broaden your results.  Basic information will provide the best return on the search (i.e. limiting your search fields to LAST NAME, FIRST NAME).  

Fees:

• Commercial Users: See monthly and single-day fee schedule here
• SCOTT COUNTY RESIDENTS/Non-Commercial Users: Free, limited to Scott County records only, 5 searches per day.

Important Information:

• When submitting your online request form, please be as specific as possible.  Party names, document type and an approximate date range are required to accurately locate the requested record.
• Once received and reviewed, please allow up to 3 business days to receive the requested record.  Check your contact information for accuracy, as we may need to reach out for more information or clarification.

Fees:

• Printing costs for physical copies is $.25 per page.  
• Certified copies are $5 per document regardless of page count.  If requesting a certified copy, please note that this will incur postage and handling fees.  Once all fees are determined, we will contact you to collect payment.

Important Information:

• Our deed room is staffed with deputy recording clerks able to provide assistance with navigating the public search terminals.

  • 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
