Obtaining a Duplicate Title

Location:
- Visit us at our Main Office or Branch Office
Documents Required:
- Completed Application for Kentucky Certificate of Title/VTR or Registration (TC96-182)
- Valid photo ID for the titled owner(s)
- Title lien statement, if applicable
Important Notes:
- Only the titled owner(s) or lienholder (with a Power of Attorney) may request a duplicate title
- If there is an active lien, the duplicate title will still reflect that
- If more than one owner is listed on the title with “AND,” all owners must sign the application
Fees:
- $6 title fee
- $22 lien filing fee, if applicable
