Records Overview
The Scott County Clerk is charged with indexing and housing all legal land records as well as a marriage license and notary bonds. Some of our records date back as far as the late 1700s and go through to the current day. At present time, we use a digital index however, the oldest records are still kept by the ledger as they were at the time of filing. Our Deed and Recordings rooms are open to the public daily from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
